Eileen (Gilmartin) Haritonides has been an Art Director, illustrator and photographer for over 20 years.
In 1989 Eileen earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the State University of New York College at Oswego specializing in photography and graphic design.
She went on to be an Art Director for PTN Publishing Co. (now Cygnus Business Media), ICD Publications, and Thomson Media (now Source Media). She has many contacts with professional illustrators and photographers in the field.
Since January of 2004 she has gone out on her own to be a freelance graphic designer, illustrator and photographer and president of Fotobuff Design. She knows how to keep a project in line with it's deadline and works well with either a team of professionals and/or individuals.
Eileen works mainly in QuarkExpress, Photoshop, Photomatix Pro, and Illustrator.

November 2012 - Honorary Mention Award for the photo "Perkins Cove, Maine" - Given by North Shore LIJ Hospital in Manhasset, NY is on permanent display. There were 250 entries.
January 2009 - Honorary Mention Award for the photo "The Sweet Beauty of Life" - Given by the town of Huntington, NY Photo was taken for the 2008 Huntington Tulip Festival Photo Competition.
Art Direction
June 2002 - Society of Illustators - Los Angeles, Illustration West 40 Competition, Certificate of Merit award for Art Direction of Ned Shaw's illustration of computer hackers for the Jan/Feb issue of Mortgage Technology.
1992 - PICA Award (Printing Industry of the Carolinas)
for the cover of the ShoWorld Pocket Tour Guide which was submitted by Fisher-Harrison (printing company).
Illustration
September 2000 - Thomson Financial's Stan Strachten Award for an illustration I created that ran in the October 2, 2000 issue of National Mortgage News. The illustration also ran in the September/October 2000 issue of Mortgage Technology Magazine. A cash award was also given.

As a photographer, illustrator, and graphic designer you get the "full package" wrapped into one person for your project. I do event photography, corporate head shots, environmental head shots, and on location photo shoots with children and families in the New York area. Not included in this site are the photo shoots of children and families. I did not include them in this site because of right to privacy requests by the parents. However, you may view my portfolio of these images upon request.
